Don Bosco Bidar was established in the year 2012, in the Northern most District of Karnataka. The community is actively involved in carrying out activities such as Child Labour Rehabilitation, MCB (Missing Child Bureau), CHILDLINE, Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT), Non-formal Technical School, DB Tech VTP, Hostel for ITI students, Migrant Ministry, Evening Tuition Centres, and CREAM project. Apart from these, the house is also involved in neighbourhood apostolate which contributes to the evangelization of the people of the area. The childhood of child labourers and Young at Risk, which otherwise would have been ruined, is given a fresh start due to our timely intervention.
